League games for fall season 2009 will be played at Founder's Park in Wylie, Texas on: Monday, Thursday and/or Saturday's. Wednesday nights will be used for rain out games when necessary.
Game days by division will not be determined until we have a firm count of players/teams. Games may be played on anyone of these given nights/days.
Registration and Games: will ALL be played at Wylie Founders Park at the girls softball fields!

Recreational divisions:
T-Ball, 8U• Modified Coach pitch, 10U, 12U and 14U
Registration Notes and Dates: (ALL New & Returning Players - MUST bring copy of birth certificate at time of registration to be kept and filed by league. They will be destroyed after each season is complete):
Saturday: Aug. 29th – (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Thursday: Sept. 3rd – (5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE at Founders Softball Fields(South of WHS football field/visitor’s parking lot By the RED BARN at Founders Softball Fields)
Applications / Registration forms: Will be available on-line (Thursday, August 27, 2009) @ www.eteamz.com/wyliegirls
Game Days: Will be on any one of the following days or a combination (Monday, Thursday and/or Saturday)This will be determined after final count of teams and by individual divisions.
Practice Day: WGFSA requires players to make one mandatory practice each week for 1.5 – 2 hours, set by the league after teams are finalized. Your coach will contact you with this information. Practice may be on any one of the following days (Monday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday)This will be determined by president of board with the coach after the game schedules are set.
Late Registration:
Applications received after Sept. 3rd: will require a $25.00 late fee, and will be placed on a standby list only (fill teams if players are needed by division). If not placed on a team all monies will be refunded.
2009 FALL INFORMATION
Here are some fast facts to the most asked questions of the season!
1. Games will be on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays for the FALL Season. Every child will be placed on a team as long as that division makes with a minimum of 4 teams.
2) Tentative Opening/Closing Game day: Saturday, September 26th for all divisions, closing of season Saturday, October 31st weather permitting. 6 game guarantee per division / 8 games scheduled (weather permitting).
3. Registration includes end of the season trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams.
4. Our league is open to all American (recreational) teams from surrounding areas that would like to participate.
5. Coaches will be determined by the Executive Board of Directors and Coaches selected will be notified no later than September 11, 2009. Once the divisions are set and coaches are selected, there will be a meeting to discuss uniforms, rules, etc..
NOTE: There will be no players names on jerseys for fall 2009 or future seasons.
WGFSA is not set up with a 501 © as of this time to accept sponsors, when we are all sponsorships, etc will be processed through the Executive Board of Directors.
Any team that has their name(s) and/or sponsorship on their jerseys will not be allowed to play beginning fall 2009 until they are within league guidelines.
Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Exceptions are as follows: Quorum not established to hold meeting, No new business, and/orOut of Season

WGFSA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY AMMENDMENTS AND/OR CHANGES AS THEY DEEM NECESSARY FOR THE LEAGUE: Before, during or after any season.
NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT ONLY TO THE HEAD COACH EACH TEAM!
Players will be contacted no later than Friday, September 18th, draft was help Thursday, September 17th due to inclement weather!
Practice Schedules will be set once all coaches are selected for the fall 2009 season and team names are selected and approved by the board of directors.
Uniform color / team name, etc. will be determined and set once all coaches are selected.
Every team will play Saturday, September 26th, games time to be determined on both Red and Blue fields. Games will be played on Monday, Thursday and Saturday's following opening day.
Game Schedules will be posted as soon as confirmed with necessary scheduling needs!
NOTE: WGFSA Executive Board reserves the right to make any necessary changes within the league with notice being placed on the hotline and/or emailed to head coaches.
