Ontario Soccer Association Issues Advisory on H1N1 Virus.

The Ontario Soccer Association through its official Medical Advisory Committee has released a statement in regards to the H1N1 virus and its affect during soccer matches.

Woodstock Soccer Club advises all players and parents to be familiar with these guidelines.  If any players are showing flu-like symptoms it is advised that they do not participate in their soccer activity to avoid spreading germs.

The world soccer governing body, FIFA, has declared that shaking of hands before and after games are safe practices at this time.  Therefore, the Woodstock Soccer Club will continue with this fair-play practice in its indoor house league program.
