This site contains information for and about the Woodbridge Strikers South Under 9 Rep. Team that will be competing in it's first season in the YRSL in 2008.

Tuesday Practice

  • Please be aware that Tuesday's practice has been moved from Vaughangrove Mini to teh OSA Mini due to the Woodbridge Soccer Club Houseleage Fun Weekend.  Rainbow Creek is the field were the team pictures were taken.  A map is available below.

Rain Out Notice for Games:

 

  • Only the Referee the league or the city has the ability to call a game due to rain. In all cases a decision will usually be made as close to game time as possible so please do not call the coaching staff to find out if the game is still on.
  • The coaching staff will do it's best to notify players if the game is cancelled but always assume that the game is on unless other wise notified.
  • For home games you may call the City of Vaughan Field Hotline (905-832-8577 option #4) to check for closures.

Practices:

  • Rain notices for all outdoor practices will be handled as follows, any cancellation decision will be made as close to the practice schedule as possible and communicated out by:
  1. A posting on this website
  2. An email to the parents
  3. A text message to your cell phone.

If you do not see any of these please consider practice a go.

Team Calendar and Vacation Schedule
In an effort to keep everyone informed the calendar has been updated with all practice and events that we currently know about. This information will be updated on a weekly basis so please feel free to check it out and see what is coming.
The 2008 Vaction Survey is also ready and availble to be filled out on the My Site News page. Please take a moment to fill it out so that we can make informed decisions when deciding what tournaments to play in.

Please remember to notify the coaching staff if you are unable to make it to a practice. Communication is a two way street and we try hard to keep the website updated with the details of any events as soon as we know about them. A simple text message if you are unable to make it will allow us to properly plan for things during bad weather.
