This site contains information for and about the Woodbridge Strikers East Under 13 Rep. Team that will be competing in it's third season in the YRSL A Division in 2009.

New

Bye Week Practice

  • Please be aware that we will be holding a special practice on Tuesday night to replace the bye in the schedule.  The practice will be held on OSA #2 starting at 7:30 PM.
  • During practice we will collecting  a one time suplemental charge from each player to account for the difference between the revised budget and what we have raised through corprate sponsor's.
  • Thursday nights practice has also been moved to 7:30 PM at OSA #1.
  • Hotel rooms in both St. Catherines and Niagara Falls are filling up quickly for the weekend of the Ti Amo Tournament so please make sure to book soon.
 

Rain Day Policy

  • As per league policy the only people who can cancel a game due to rain are:
  1. The referee if he/she feels that the field is either unplayable or the danger of lightening strike exists.
  2. The Parks and Rec department of the City where the game is being played if they feel that playing on the wet field will cause damage.
  • On rainy day's we will take the following steps to ensure that everyone is notified of changes as soon as they occur:
  1. Update the website with a cancellation notice.
  2. Send out a notification email to all parents and ask for confirmation of reciept.
  3. Call or text any parents who we have not heard from 1-2 hours prior to the game or practice (as time permits).
  • If you do not see a notice on this website and have not received an email or text message please proceed to the field and assume that the game/practice is on.

 

 

Please remember to notify the coaching staff if you are unable to make it to a practice. Communication is a two way street and we try hard to keep the website updated with the details of any events as soon as we know about them. A simple text message if you are unable to make it will allow us to properly plan for things during bad weather.
