This is the first round of the state playoffs.

The Hounds defeated the North East Grapepickers tonight to advance to the District 10 Finals game next week. 

 The Hounds will face Sharon next week at Slippery Rock University at 7 pm on Friday, November 27th.

The 2009 Hounds Senior Nite Game vs. Slippery Rock will be broadcast on several different channels.

First of all, Westminster College will be broadcasting live on www.titanradio.net and also on 88.9 FM on your radio.  Secondly, The River 96.7 FM on your radio will also be carrying the game live.

This game will be filmed for the PCN Game of the Week this week.  Westminster will be taping the game for PCN and it will be broadcast at 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 31st on PCN.

The Wilmington Greyhounds Players, Coaches, Families and Friends would like to welcome home Staff Sergeant Mike Crawford from Iraq.  'Coach Crawford', as he's known on the Hounds' squad has returned home to New Wilmington from his year long tour in Iraq. 

 We would like to take this opportunity to thank Staff Sergeant Crawford for his dedication to our country and our safety.  Mike's patriotism and never ending pride for the United States are only a few examples of why we are proud to have him as part of the Hound's family.

The Wilmington Greyhounds traveled to Greenville's Stewart Field tonight to take on the Greenville Trojans.   The Hounds were victorious with a score of 36-15.

The Hounds are at Home next Saturday hosting Grove City.

The Wilmington Greyhounds began their 2009 Season at Brentwood High School tonight with a win over the Spartans 43-0.   

Next week the Hounds travel to Greenville.

The Wilmington Greyhounds will open the 2009 season this Friday, September 4, 2009 at Brentwood High School.   Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30.  Brentwood High School is located at 3601 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh.  Parking is limited, so plan accordingly.
