WARRIORS SEASON

As the season comes to a close....The Warriors would like to thank the TCMFL for opening their arms to our organization.  This truly was a great move.  The league virtually bent over backwards for us on numourous occassions.  With low numbers we fought hard each and every day to put the program on the field.  The Warriors survive on pure Pride and Faith.  You must have faith in the Warriors in order for us to survive.  All the teams did a great job.  Our freshman team showed the league that we ARE a formitable opponent and will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.  At the helm was Coach Jon Collins.  Along with his staff, he formed the young players into football players.  Teaching the basics and having alot of fun.  The team is only 2 spots shy of the playoffs.  Way to go Freshman.  The sophomore team, headed by Coach Dwayne Daids, fought hard to keep 12 players on the field.  Practice after practice, game after game, the sophomores and the coaching staff learned that dedication and teamwork go hand and hand with football skills.  Let's build on this and next year we can defeat and conquer.  The Junior team started slowly.  After finally getting the roster in shape, the players learned that teamwork is not just a word.  Riddled with injuries, they fought hard just to have enough for a game.  This last week at Clearview the team showed us that with hard work and determination they could score!  Coach Pete Lempa said, "  He couldn't be prouder of the way each player played.  They really showed Clearview that they couldn't run us down."  After a slow start, the Senior team, headed by Coach John Brown, showed EVERYONE that they were a formitable team.. They beat Clearview this week 34-6 and CLINCHED THE DIVISION TITLE and therefore clinching a playoff berth.  Each and every player produced.  There wasn't 11 players on the field,  There was a TEAM.  I am proud to be a Warrior and even prouder of the way everyone played & coached.  Thank you for showing me that hard work, dedication, teamwork and pure heart WINS OUT.  SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.   GO WARRIORS.
