Wild Rose Fastpitch Softball organization, located in beautiful McMinnville, Oregon, provides young women in Yamhill County an opportunity to learn competitive fastpitch softball. The organization is dedicated to teaching the correct fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship and development of a well-rounded athlete. These dedicated players also learn valuable life skills through the game. The players range in age from 8 to 15 years old, with girls going on to participate on high-school varsity or college level teams. Wild Rose utilizes outdoor practice facilities including practice fields, batting cages, pitching machines and other appropriate training aids. Player fees and various community fundraising subsidize upkeep of the facilities, safety equipment, uniforms and participation in tournaments or league play around the state. Wild Rose participates in competitive "B" level travel softball in the 10-Under, 12-Under, and 14-Under age divisions.
