Welcome to the Wichita Cowboys Football Home Page.
The Wichita Cowboys is a competitive Football organization that prides its self in winning games and developing the young men, and not just as a football player but as a positive individual. Granted you can not win every game, but we want the players to understand that even though you may not win every game, just have that attitude and desire and give it your all, and that in its self makes YOU a winner. Just like we want them to do in school and their everyday life. Also learn the importance of being on a team, and playing team sports, contributing and being part of that success, and remember just because you may not play as much as another player, YOU have a role in that success no matter how big or small when you play team sports.
We want the young men and women that come out of the Wichita Cowboys Organization to go on in life and be positive people in their schools, and their community and not just on the football field.
We are excited about kicking off the 2011 Season. 2010 was Special for the Wichita Cowboys. In the most competitive League in Wichita and in Kansas some may say. The Cowboys do not see any reason why that success will not continue into the 2011 season, so come be a part of an organization that encourages a winning attitude on and off the field.
Wichita Cowboys have been around since the early 1980s it has been one of the strongest and most constant organizations in the league. The majority of the coaches have been with the organization for over 10 years; they have coached their kids with in the organization and continue to coach after their child has moved on. We have GREAT parent support which is very important to OUR success as well. The players that we have are outstanding the majority have been in the organization for years usually since 2nd or 3rd grade, and it is exciting to see them as a 1st or 2nd grader starting out then following them all the way to 8th grade.
It is the hope of the leagues directors to make this up coming season EXCITING. Thats why they are hoping to get more support from the parents of each organization to help grow the league and continue to make it successful.

Practice has started
practices will be Monday thru Friday 6pm - 8pm

We will be handing out a flyer first day of practice of what you need to get, OR you can stop by Varsity Sports and ask for Sarah. Varsity Sports is giving discounts on everything that you will need to purchase for you child for practice.
Need to have plenty of water. Wear shorts and shirt and cleats if you have them at that time, and be ready to work hard!

Wichita Cowboys have always had sucess just look at the 2009 season, because of its coaches and parents support and their dedication and loyalty to the organization, this means alot and important to the kids and the Wichita Cowboys.
ALL of the coaches from last year ARE returning and looking forward to seeing all the old players and yes, cheerleaders too in this 2010 season.
We do have space available for ANY new players or cheerleaders as well.
