2012/2013
Playing Time
Playing time at tournaments is earned. Every player is entitled to equal time in practice. Players will receive playing time at tournaments (provided they have attended all practices since the previous tournament or the coach or Club Director has excused their absence in advance). If the player does not meet the practice requirement, becomes injured or ill, arrives late to the tournament, has to leave the tournament early, has behaved in a manner that has required disciplinary action or is in arrears with respect to the payment of Club Fees, they may not receive playing time.
| Fundraisers |
The goal of the Club is to maximize the volleyball experience of its members. To that end, all fundraisers are individual fundraisers for the benefit of the individual player unless otherwise indicated in advance of the fundraisers. All fundraising activities are to be approved in advance by the Club Director.
Financial Obligations
Committing to the Club involves a financial commitment to the total Club Fees for the season; a payment schedule is provided only for convenience; in the event a player seeks a release from the Club, no release will be granted until the total Club Fees for the season are satisfied. In the event payments under the outlined payment schedule are in arrears, the player may not receive playing time at tournaments; in the event payments are in arrears more than one month, the player may not be permitted to practice; such determinations are at the sole discretion of the Club Director. A $10 per month late fee will be assessed for each payment not made by the specified due date and for each consecutive month unpaid.
Travel Teams --Out-of-State Tournaments
Travel teams will travel to out-of-state tournaments sanctioned by USA Volleyball selected by the Club Director.
13N--16N:
All cost of transportation, lodging, and food for players on the 13N thru 16N teams are included in the Club Fees. These teams will travel to and participate in the So. Cal National Qualifier held in either Las Vegas, NV or Anaheim, CA depending on age group.
17N--18N:
All cost of lodging and food for players on the 17N-18N teams are included in the Club Fees. Transportation is the reponsibility of the individual player to out-of-state tournaments. The 17 & 18 National 1 Teams will participate in the Omaha Asic's President's Day Classic Tournament. Players will need to purchase a ticket on their coaches' flight to Omaha or travel with a parent and arrive at the hotel by the designated team meeting time. The Club will provide transportation to/from the playing venue in Omaha, NE. All other out-of-state tournaments are expected to be within 5-6 hours driving time.
Volleyball Festival:
All National 1 Travel Teams with the exception of 18N1 will participate in Volleyball Festival.
