Education is the key to success. The Whaling City Youth Baseball League believes that academics & athletics are a winning combination. We are very proud of the scholarships that we award annually to former Whaling City ballplayers entering their Freshmen year of college. The league has been awarding scholarships for nearly 30 years. If you will be graduating from High School this year, and played here at Whaling City, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship. Our roof on the clubhouse has been replaced through the generosity of Harvey Building Products.
Last season the roofing on all our buildings were replaced, and now new energy saving windows from Harvey Building Products will be installed.
On behalf of everyone at Whaling City Youth Baseball, we want to thank our friends at Harvey, and our friends at New Bedford Regional Voc-Tech for their continued support of our kids here at "The Whale".
