Volunteers are still needed for: 

  • Help with walk in registration with capability to input player info to a computer with 3g minimum capability - Julie Taylor(1 Volunteer still needed)
  • Work car washes at Len Stoler.
  • To help at golf tournament; registration and at “Hole in One”
  • Sell raffle tickets at locations in Westminster.
  • Division/League Raffle Coordinator
  • Deliver Plaques to organizations and to bring a player from sponsored team.  
  • Coaches willing to attend a class to teach the same method for players going through the system.
  • Photographers - Mai Bright (1 Volunteer still needed)
  • Background check volunteer - Jen Blizzard
  • Calendar Manager
  • Fall baseball coordinators
  • Baseball Clinic volunteers
  • Trophy coordinator - Maria Andrews
  • Complete permits for concession
  • Island Green - Set up putt putt fund raiser
  • JP Pizza LL night at restaurant  - Chad Vogel
  • Other duties as they develop
  •  Fun Day - still need volunteers to collect prizes, work with vendor, Fire Department and get the message out

                

The league has to be bigger than Chris Henneman and myself.  Generally, at meetings Chris and I do most of the talking.  Ideas are shared and affirmed but any plan of action doesn’t materialize unless the few people who are involved step up. When they do, I caution them to not take the responsibility as they will find themselves in both my and Chris Henneman’s shoes.
