Welcome!
The West Jersey Witches were formed in 1996 to provide local female softball players with an opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball. The home fields for the 10, 12 & 14 year old Witches are at the Joe Lawrence Complex in Bordentown Twp, while the 16 & 18 year old Witches home field is Muchowski field in Florence. During the spring we play in league play during the week and tournament play on the weekends. During the winter, practice takes place two times a week indoors. Tryouts are held in the months of August and September. We carry 12 girls each year that are under the age of 12 as of January 1st. If you are interested in learning more about our softball program feel free to e-mail the team.
Firebird Rockin' Round Up
AWESOME game Witches!! Playing our first 14U tournament, the Witches seeded 6th. On Sunday we battled for 3 1/2 hours, 12 innings, tying the game in 5 international tie breaker innings. The Philly Spirit Silver won the game in the 12th inning - great game by both teams!!!!
2nd Place ASA States!
Witches placed 2nd at the ASA State Championship tournament-losing to the Indian Mills Mystics Blue in a tough game!
Way to Go Witches!
Congratulations Witches on our First Place finish at the Junebug Jamboree!!!! Scoring 38 runs in four games while only giving up 3.
2nd Place Finish!
Witches finished second at the Mystics Memorial Day Madness Tournament!
Witches Wild Weekend!
The team earned a third place finish.
PA Patriots Tournament
Witches battled through a tough game to place 3rd at this tournament.
Firebirds Face-Off
At the Firebird Face Off the Witches played yet another great tournament, scoring 46 and giving up 12. We won every game except the final, in which we lost 9-5 to the Philly Wizards.
Doing Good Girls!
Witches did great during their first spring tourney at the Sharks Best Of The Best. We scored 58 runs and only let in 7. Loss to Riviera Beach Spirit 5-1 in the championship game earning us a Second Place finish.
