WELCOME to the Web Site of the West Columbia Post 79 American Legion Baseball Team. We hope this site will be useful and entertaining for you. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for the youth of our community to play American Legion Baseball and to promote Americanism. CHANGES TO 2010 SCHEDULE

Check schedule page for NEW 2010 SCHEDULE.  Columbia NE will not have a team this year so the schedule changed as of 5/29/10.

2010 TRYOUTS BEGIN

Tryouts for the 2010 W. C. Post 79 Baseball Team begin Tuesday 5/11/10 5:30 PM at Airport High School. These tryouts are for the Airport, Swansea, and Pelion Players. BC and White Knoll players will tryout as soon as they are finished with the playoffs.

West Columbia wins 2009 League 8 Championship

West Columbia finished the regular season with a 13 & 5 record and won the

regular season League 8 Championship. West Columbia won 10 games in a row

to clinch the title. West Columbia will host Lancaster Post 31 Monday in Game 1

of the State Playoffs. Game time is 7 PM at Airport High. 

Season Passes will not be honored for the playoffs. Admission will be $5.00 for 

 Adults and $3.00 for Students.  Come out and support our team. With your 

support we can make it to the State Championship.
