Welcome Letter from Steve Willingham

WARRIORS WRESTLING CLUB

Welcome Warrior Families,

We are excited to have you as part of our 2009-2010 Warriors Wrestling Club as we celebrate our 35th season bringing youth wrestling to Carroll County. This letter will outline some important dates and reminders that you and your son will need to know for the season. So please mark your calendars now, so you don
’t forget
.  We always have the latest up to date information throughout the season on our website www.warriorswrestling.com so add it to your list of favorites.

Practices for recreation teams will be two days a week with matches on the weekend, while travel teams practice three nights a week.  If you have a 4/5 year old and would prefer they practice one day a week in a clinic with no matches please e-mail me. The practices will be held at South Carroll, Century, or Liberty High Schools starting in November and ending in February or early March.

For practices and matches your son will need wrestling shoes and headgear. We will have some available. They will also need purple Warrior team shorts for competition, which can be purchased, along with the headgear, through the Warriors.

Consider becoming a Warriors Wrestling Sponsor.  If you have a business, or as an individual, or know someone that would like to sponsor the Warriors Wrestling Program please see me or Sue Scott. Team sponsorships vary in price and may include a plaque, the company name on the banner and their link on our website.  More information is available under "Warrior Sponsor" tab to the left.

If your son makes the travel team there will be a $50 travel fee.

If you are interested in coaching please respond via e-mail.
Thanks,
Steve Willingham
