Congratulations to the 2009 Tri-County Jr. Eagles for their very successful year which included a 22 - 11 record, a championship win in the First Annual Upstate Slam Tournament and reaching the New York State Jr. American Legion Championship game. It was a hard fought 5 games in 4 days which consisted of two extra inning games. We had impressive wins over strong programs from Shrub Oak, Elmira and Rochester. In the Championship game, we faced our rival from Saratoga and just didn’t have enough to finish the grueling schedule. It was a difficult loss but it marked the end of a very successful summer season.

This year our schedule consisted of half our games played in the ENYTB League High Silver Wood Bat Division and the other half played against American Legion teams from Kingston, Tillson, Plattsburgh, Montreal and Saratoga. In both the ENYTB and American Legion schedule, we faced varsity level competition and teams in the age bracket from 17 to 18 years old.
