Winter Encampment: Mar 13-14, 2015

Winter Encampment for Jr/C/Sr/Amb will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, 2015. Scroll down to see the complete list of forms available to download.

>>CORI form This CORI form must be filled out and dropped off in person at the Cedar Hill Council Office in Waltham. The form must be processed by the Council Office before Encampment. All adults who are attending Encampment must be CORI'd. Please leave enough time for the CORI form to be processed before Encampment weekend.
>>Winter Encampment 2015 is an outline of the schedule, a permission slip that must be signed by parents, and a Permission to Administer Medication form. This file also contains a list of what each girl should pack.
>>Encampment Attendance form must be filled out by all leaders before arriving at Encampment. Leaders will turn this form in to Peg when you check in on Saturday at Beehive Cabin.
>>Map of Cedar Hill Campground is a printable map of the Cedar Hill campground, showing the Beehive gate off of Forest St. and the Beaver St. entrance and parking lot near the GS Store.
>>Topo Map of Cedar Hill is a topographical map of the campground put together by Girl Scouts in Bedford, Mass., for a silver award project in 2006. It's a better map than the Council's map.
>>What to Bring to Encampment (draft) is for leaders to use in planning what to bring to their cabins for staying overnight at Encampment (kitchen and cleaning supplies, food, etc.) Leaders should coordinate with the other leaders in their cabin on who is bringing what supplies.

Girl Scout Sunday 2014

Flyer for our 2014 Girl Scout Sunday Afternoon Tea on March 9, 2014, from 2-4pm at Our Lady's Academy. Tickets are $5 per person and must be purchased in advance through your troop leader.

Service Unit Volunteer Awards and Training Logs

These logs and nomination forms should be turned in at our Leaders Mtg in April of each year. Pins and other awards are given out at our year-end Leaders Dinner at the end of May.
>>Service Unit Awards is a description of all the adult recognitions and awards given out at the Service Unit level. It also includes a link to nominate and endorse a volunteer online.
>>Leadership Pins and Leaves is a file for applying for the Owl pin and green and silver leaves awarded for training hours.
>>Training Attendance Card is a log for leaders to keep track of the training they attend.

Winter Encampment Forms 2012

The first file below is the Winter Encampment information flyer and permission slips. Permission slips must be returned to all troop leaders by March 2, 2012.

The second file is the Winter Encampment Final Attendance Form, which must be turned in at check-in on March 9. This is a list of all the girls and adults planning to attend from your troop.

The CORI form must be submitted to the Council Office no later than March 2.

The Map of Cedar Hill & Parking Instructions explains the drop off and pick up procedures at the beginning and end of Encampment. Please share this with the parents in your troop.

The Winter Encampment permission slip and supply list has information for girls, a list of what to bring, and a permission slip for parents to sign and return to troop leaders. The Encampment Attendance form is to be filled out by the troop leader before arriving at Encampment Friday night, Feb. 26.
