Dynamo Starts BBSL 2-0!
Wow - what a great start for Dynamo! 2 home games, 2 wins. 4-2 over Broadneck and 7-0 over Crofton! In Dynamo's 7-0 win over Crofton, Dynamo had 7 different players score goals!
Dynamo now hits the road. Our next 2 games are away, then Dynamo has Virginia Beach and then State Cup. Dynamo doesn't return to Bryantown until October 24th.

Parental Sideline Coaching
It appears that local referees have been asked to address parental coaching from the sidelines. Several Waldorf travel teams have been warned in the past two weeks - including Dynamo yesterday.
Coaching from the sideline gives players mixed messages. They should only hear the coaches' directions - nobody else's. Yelling PASS!, SHOOT!, or "CROSS IT!" really just delays a player's reaction time and may cause him to hesitate. Players need to learn to make decisions based on their training.
Positive cheering from the sideline is certainly encouraged! Cheer loud and cheer often!

Dynamo places 3rd at Thunder Soccer Fest

Despite a terrific effort by all, Dynamo came up short against quality competition at the Maryland Soccerplex this weekend. Dynamo was very competetive against higher ranked NCSL D4 and D5 teams. As always, the Soccerplex field's were in great shape and the weather was awesome. Dynamo's Saturday picnic was enjoyed by all! Thanks to all that helped! All in all, it was a great weekend! On to our BBSL league season! Schedules will be out Tuesday night!

Crofton Shootout Rained Out
Crofton was rained out!! Ouch!!! This was a tournament we were looking forward to doing well at. The tournament committee informed us that there will be partial refunds. The amounts are to be determined after all their expenses have been calculated.
