Over 30 Years and Counting
Wakefield Twi League was started in 1976 in order to give adults 18 years and older the opportunity to play baseball against their peers after graduating high school. A 12 game per team regular season is played with 4 teams making the playoffs. Most games are played at Moulton Field at the West Side Social Club, but we have games on Friday nights also being played at Walsh Field.

Please feel free to sign up on our web site to recieve score updates via e-mail, purchase Twi-League t-shirts and support our sponsors.

2009 featured all playoff games going the distance and the teams should be evenly matched again this year.  We look forward to seeing you at the games in 2010.

Expos Clinch Playoff Spot with 2-1 Win

The Expos clinched a playoff spot with a 2-1 win over the Loafers in a tight well pitched game.  With the Expos and Highlife securing their spots, 3 teams are fighting for the last two spots and they all have their destiny in their own hands.

The Brewers will lock up a spot with a win tonight against the Expos.  If the Brewer's lose, they are out of contention.  If the Brewer's win, than the winner of Friday Night's Unknown's vs. Loafers matchup, gets the final playoff spot.  The seedings for the playoffs will not be decided until all the games are completed.

Playoff Hopefuls Go Down to the Wire

With just one week left in the regular season, only one team has secured their spot in the playoffs.  Four teams are fighting for the remaining 3 spots in the Twi-League Playoffs, which are set to start Sunday August 8th with a double header at 2PM and 5PM.

The Highlife have locked up a spot in the playoffs.  Although they are in 1st place now, they could still drop in the seedings.  Many big games this week including Monday night's Brewers - Highlife game.  The Brewers are desparate for a win, which the Highlife would like to lock up the 1st seed throughout the playoffs.

Most games will be played at Moulton Park including all in the playoffs.  Friday night has two games to be played with one being played at Walsh Field.
