Waialua Little League has the honor of hosting the 2009 District 7 Little League (Majors) Tournament, beginning July 2nd.This season, eight leagues will vie to represent our district in the State Tournament, which follows later in July.As many people know, Waipio Little League won the World Series last year and West Oahu Little League was World Champion in 2005.The caliber of play is very high in our district!Hosting such a tournament requires plenty of work and your help is needed.Can you spare an hour or two to volunteer between July 2 and 8?We are also looking for help to finish painting the dugouts, completing repairs on the backstop and preparing the field in late June.

Minors Tournament
Waialua Little League is also proud to field a 9 and 10 year olds (Minors) Tournament Team this year.Our tournament team will be selected by a vote of the eligible players, Minors Managers and the Board of Directors.The team will be announced on June 3rd.The 9-10 District Tournament will be held June 17-23 at Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio.The winner qualifies to play in the State Tournament, which is the top prize for this age group.
