League Organization
West Yorba Linda Little League is a youth baseball program for players age 5 to 16. The divisions include levels for: Instructional Little League Senior League
Playing Seasons
WYLLL is made up of two seasons. The regular season begins with sign-ups in early January, practices in February, and games in March. The regular season usually ends by the first week in June (weather permitting). Playoffs follow for teams that qualify.
The Winter Ball season begins in September and ends before Thanksgiving. It is a non-competitive training season for players age 9 to 14. Games are played on Sundays only beginning after 12:00pm. Typically there are no practices during the season, however if there is practice, it is optional for the player. Sign-ups for Winterball are in early August.
Geographic Boundaries
WYLLL is permited to accept players from within the geographic boundries established by the Little League District Administrator.
Our boundaries are: West - the YL city boundary line. South - the YL city boundary line and Anaheim residents north of Orangethorpe (near Esperanza HS). East - Imperial Hwy to Kellogg (westerly side) and Gun Club Rd (a proposed street). North - the YL city boundary line.
Also in the WYLLL boundaries are the Brea streets surrounding Vesuvius off of Rose Dr.
Placentia residents are no longer accepted in our boundaries. If you resided in our boundaries and have recently moved, please contact the League President about Waiver Options.
