Wrestling Club Goals
The simple goal of the Wilton Wrestling club is to introduce your child to the sport. We want your child to have a fun and positive experience. Like most athletic activities, we will emphasize the fundamentals of the sport, including the basic skills, drills and technique. Every wrestler from grade school to the Olympic wrestling levels concentrate on the fundamentals. This Club is open to all Wilton Community students in K-8, Pre-school students must be approved and a parent must accompany them. Upon approval, we do allow students outside the community.
Lil Beavers: primary goal is to show quality technique and get plenty of mat time in a recreational atmosphere. This group is for the inexperienced, younger, or for wrestler who enjoys wrestling but not at a more intense level.
Fighting Beavers: primary goal is to show quality technique with repetitive drilling and intense wrestling in a competitive atmosphere Practice will officially begin on Tuesday November 3rd at 5:30 for both groups. Below is the first months Practice schedule. All wrestlers will receive a packet at sign-ups for the upcoming season.

If your planning on going to tournaments soon and need a singlet you
will to let us know as soon as possible so we can get it to you. We
will need a weight on you and then we will be able to get the right size
to you. Also if you could as us on the first night of practice each
week that way we can get before the end of the second practice of that
week.
