ODP Tryout Information

WHEN & WHERE:

 October 19 @ Edmond Soccer Club

• Boys 4:00pm – 6:00pm

• Girls 6:00pm – 8:00pm

* *US Soccer National staff Coach David Rubinson will be in attendance

November 9 @ Broken Arrow Soccer Club (Indian Springs Soccer Complex)

• 4:00pm – 5:45pm – Girls

• 6:00pm – 7:45pm – Boys

Check in at main concession stand by fields 1-5 for field assignments

December 7 @ Norman Soccer Club

• 4:00pm – 6:00pm – ALL age groups Boys and Girls

Check in at main concession stand for field assignments

Please communicate with your team coach and manager about your plans to attend the tryouts so that they will not schedule or re-schedule games on the tryout dates.

 WHO: Boys and Girls born from January 1, 1992 – December 31, 1997

ODP goes strictly by birth year (January 1-December 31 of each year) which is different than club soccer.

HOW DO I REGISTER???: There is a $75.00 tryout fee (one time fee for all 3 tryouts). Players are strongly encouraged to attend all 3 tryouts!!! If a player can not make on of the tryouts, please email me so that I can notify the coach.

ALL players MUST register online AND bring the following information to tryouts:

 • Region III Medical Questionnaire

• Region III Medical Release

• Region III Code of Conduct

• OSA Player Information Sheet

• Picture of the player

Players are encouraged to show up for the first tryout at least 30 minutes early so they can get their paperwork turned in and receive their ODP t-shirt.

The list of events, staff and cost estimate sheet will all be posted after the Region III Fall meeting October 2-5. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until that time to post that information. I do know that we had 3 teams qualify for the ODP Region III Regional Championship January 16–19, 2009. The 92 Boys, 93 Boys & 93 Girls teams qualified for this event and will take place in New Orleans, LA.
