The 2009 Eastchester Blue Jays are an all wood bat, 18+ semipro baseball team with affiliations in the N.A.B.A. and the N.S.P.B.A. You can come out and watch the 2009 Blue Jays home games at Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx and Iona Prepatory High School located in Eastchester, NY. The Blue Jays are managed by Kevin Grimley and it's roster is comprised of players with experience at all levels including farm teams, associated with MLB ball clubs like the White Sox, Mariners, Nationals, Orioles and Mets Organizations along with top NCAA Division I, II and III collegiate programs such as Florida A&M, Sacred Heart University, U-Mass, Dominican College, Mercy College, Manhattan College, University of Albany, University of Alabama, University of New Orleans, Scottsdale CC, Stony Brook, Pace University, W.C.C.

The Blue Jays are a new entity resulting from a merger between the Yonkers Indians and Bronx Astros over the 2008 off-season. Both teams and players have enjoyed great success over a combined nine years in the WRWBL. This year the Blue Jays will be taking that next step as championship contenders as we all look forward to a successful 2009 season!!
