About us
What is the WRA? The Washington Recreation Association is a not-for-profit organization that is funded solely by user fees and donations from The United Way,local businesses and individuals. The WRA provides the youth of Washington a developmental, fun, appropriately competitive and safe environment for the purpose of the enjoyment of the games of baseball, softball, and basketball by all participants. WRA defines participants as players, coaches, umpires, referees, fans, board members and guests. WRA is comprised of volunteers from the Washington Area Community and work closely with Washington Park District, District #52 and District #51 Central Grade School.
