In baseball, everything is accomplished as a result of your attitude. Attitude is the glue that brings the physical and mental components together. A perfect swing, an awesome glove, or a great arm does not win games... IT'S YOUR ATTITUDE THAT COUNTS!

THANK YOU!!!
This year's coaching staff would like to thank all of our players, parents, and fans for ending the season on a positive note after the unfortunate circumstances that transpired last week. The players clearly stared adversity in the face and took full advantage of playing out the season with a ton of class while having a lot of fun at the same time! You left all of the coaches with many great memories these last two days and proved that your love of the game and faith in each other as teammates greatly outweighs any championship we might have achieved. You proved that the way to measure a baseball player is to measure his heart and that everyone has a choice how they will react to anything. You guys rose to the occasion with both pride and dignity. It was a pleasure to work with each of you every day during the season. Best of luck to all nine of our departing players. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Boys State
Congratulations to Matt Wilk for being selected to Boys State this June, which is sponsored by the American Legion. Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students across the country in which high school juniors are selected by local American Legion Posts to attend the program. It is a participatory program where each participant becomes a part of the operation of his local, county and state government. At Boys State, Matt will be exposed to the rights and privileges as well as the duties and the responsibilities of a franchised citizen. The training is objective and practical with city, county and state governments operated by the students elected to the various offices. Activities include legislative sessions, court proceedings, law enforcement presentations, assemblies, bands, chorus and recreational programs. The 2007 American Legion Boys State for the New York Department will be held at SUNY Morrisville from June 24th - 30th. Matt is the second Whitestown Post 1113 baseball player to attend Boys State in the past three years. Mike Beck participated in 2004.
