Welcome to the WOAA Cheerleading Website!
White Oak Athletic Association will be starting its 11th season under the direction of Karen Slobodian and Patty Macey. Our purpose is for all participants to be a part of a team, work together as a team and support each other with kindness, courtesy and respect. To grow as an individual and to leave our organization with greater ability and self-esteem. To understand that it is not always about the win and the trophy - but about the journey that takes you there. The season runs from April to November with practices two days a week - Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8pm. The season includes:
- practices - one 4 day cheer camp - 2 or 3 parades - cheering at WOAA Football games - a minimum of 4 competitions - end of year banquet for all participants in good standing
We also host our own cheer competition at Founders Hall on the McKeesport High School campus in September.
