Welcome to the Western New York Christian Athletic Association
We are a competitive high school Christian sports league based upon the principles of Godly integrity, honor and fair play.
We strive to demonstrate that athletic excellence can truly be achieved without cheating, breaking the rules, or disparaging our opponents.
Furthermore, we seek to build meaningful relationships and positive memories that can last a lifetime.Therefore, all teams which participate in the association must agree to teach and exhibit Christ honoring behavior during all aspects of competition. It is expected that coaches will instruct and enforce good sportsmanship while assertively correcting inappropriate behaviors such as taunting, cheating, commission of "professional fouls", and/or showing dissension or disrespect toward referees, coaches, players or fans.
SOCCER
Welcome to the 2009 Fall Soccer Season !
Our Soccer League this year will have approximately thirteen (15) anticipated teams participating, mostly from the Northern Tier of upstate NY from Syracuse to Rochester. They are completely composed of private schools and homeschool groups.
By 2010 we hope to expand the league into the Southern Tier by forming another division "in the South" from Binghamton to Olean, which may also include some groups from Northern Pa.
All geographic divisions are then sub-divided into 2 gender divisions: All-Boys and All-Girls. (We have also had Co-Ed teams in the past.) Each of these divisions have playoffs and a championsip game at the end of the season.
Each division also has a really fun ALL STAR game to wrap up the year.
