WNLL Behavior Policy

WNLL Behavior Policy

Little League exists for children to participate in a positive, character-building venue and West Norriton Little League will have zero tolerance for immature or inappropriate adult behavior at its Little League complex.  Tournament games can be fun and highly competitive and sometimes emotions spill over.  However, as responsible adults charged with setting an example for the impressionable children on the field, you MUST check your tempers and your egos at the gate.

WNLL will not tolerate any abusive language – whether aimed at coaches, players or umpires – or inappropriate behavior including, but not limited to: cursing or use of profane gestures, fighting, drinking alcohol, degrading a player, or yelling at umpires.

PENALTY:  Offenders will be asked to leave the premises after the first offense.  THIS IS YOUR WARNING.  If offenders do not comply, the game will be delayed while the police are notified and offenders will be escorted from the complex and banned from future games.

WNLL seeks only to remove abusive jeering, not enthusiastic, positive cheering.  Too many decent, dedicated volunteers comprise this league and a few unruly fans will not be allowed to embarrass WNLL or sully its reputation for baseball excellence.

THE LITTLE LEAGUE PARENT/VOLUNTEER PLEDGE

I will teach all children to play fair and do their best
I will positively support all managers, coaches and players
I will respect the decisions of the umpires
I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game

“From the ranks of youngsters who stand now on the morning side of the hill will come the leaders, the future strength and character of the nation.”
