2012

The boys are men, many working for a living now, in their 25th year. I didn't want to lose all of this history, so I updated this message. I hope they reflect back on this time in their lives with some fond memories. ttyl

2010

Happy Holidays, its now Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2010, let the parades begin, these young men are 23-24 yrs. old and many have started their working, professional careers. This is their brief history as teammates from many years ago they will say. I wish you all the very best of health and happiness, please stay in touch.

2008

Happy Holidays, these young men are 20-21 years old now, and many of them are seniors in college. Some still have college eligibility left and some have graduated from school. I know one of these young man, Dan Lawrence, who is coaching soccer at the college level. I wish I had more news to offer, but I don't. So good-bye for now.

Well, I haven't updated this team site in a long time, these gentlemen are in colleges in the New England area, on their college teams and in summer mens leagues, in and around northern Connecticut and western Mass. The most common link is the Pioneer/Luisatano mens team, out of Ludlow.

All the best of luck in the summer season men,  I hope to see you on the pitch. It's a Happy Fathers Day.

The boys are playing for the Senior Team in the Pioneers stadium, in the adult men's league. The red team, good luck this summer, young men.

The Jr. Pioneer's did not have any teams in the Super Y League in 2006, hopefully in 2007 they will. Please Stay Tuned.

Sorry for not updating this site very often I will work on it soon.

How the time flies, most of these men are in college now, and have completed their first semester and freshman soccer season. With the winter semester break almost over it will be nice to see if they will come together for another Super Y League season as U-19's. I now it is possible, but I do not think it will happen. Many of last years players failed to support the team, and many games were forfeited, leaving many of us on the road to games undermanned. If this team comes together for 2006 I will update this site again, Yours in soccer, HBH.

WELCOME TO THE NOW U-18 Boys TEAM SITE, FOR 2005. THIS WEB PAGE WAS STARTED IN 2002 FOR THE THEN U-15 Boy's JR. PIONEERS, that is how the web site got it's name, and it has progressed with the team and it's changes over the years. I hope you find it of interest.

I need you to respond to this e-mail so I know you received it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hi everyone,
I'd like to share with you a nice note that Frank Fonseca, the Pioneers General Manager, sent to all of us.
Don't forget to show your support to the U-16 and U-17 teams this Wednesday.
I suggest you wear your white jersey since you wore it on Sunday when you played such an intensive game. As Erin told you on his E-mail "you were truly spectacular and made your coaches, your parents and the whole Pioneers organization proud!"
Here is Frank's note:
"Coaches, Team Managers, Players and Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the JR Pioneers organization to say Congratulations on an outstanding season and tell you how proud we are of you ALL....I can honestly say that in our eyes you are ALL truly Champions for your spirit, achievements, character, and display of
professionalism exhibited over the last 4 months. You have met and surpassed the goals set before you from the outset of this endeavor.
Finishing second in the New England Region, some on the last day of the season, and some in addition to losing a spot in the Finals on a tie breaker ruling, in your inaugural year speaks highly of the competitiveness nature you display the desire you have and moreover the degree of ability you possess and have ascended to. You have paved the way for the continued & expanded JR Pioneers Super Y League participation and we hope that you will be a continued participant in the organization for years to come.
I also wish to thank and recognize the parents of the players for their support and understanding over these long months which included changing plans on occasion, traveling with the team, and working toward making this a positive and meaningful experience for them.
I would truly appreciate seeing all of you in a show of support for the U16 and U17 boys teams that will be traveling to compete in the National Finals by attending the preliminary game scrimmage this Wednesday at 5:00 PM and then staying to watch the Pioneers vs. Cape Cod in the N.E. Cup match
following...Would be great if you could wear your jersey's as a show of support and cheer the teams on....
I have attempted to be a supportive General Manager and positive influence on your experience with the JR Pioneers and could not have been effective without the support and dedication of the coaches and team managers...Thank you once again...I am truly proud of ALL of you Frank"
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know.

Fatima

Blackwatch beat Seacoast United 4-0.

You set your goals and you achieved them. You scored more goals 28, you earned more bonus points 5, and you beat both teams, Blackwatch and Boston, you can be proud of your season. I wish they were sending three teams to the finals.
The POINEERS have arrived.

You did it MEN, everyone knew you could. Thirty Points.

NICE, NICE MATCH MEN. Focus on your chances, you'll only get so many now. Now is the time to FINISH. 25 POINTS, neat.

Nice Match Men, keep the nets full. 20 points and counting.

NICE Win gentlemen, keep it coming. With 15 points you're half way there.

You've got what it takes Pioneers, I know you can put it together, you beat Seacoast United 3-1, and I can see you beating RI next time, 4-0 WOW, then Nordic Spirit, 9-0 AWESOME, and finally the Boston Bulldogs.

With a nice Win on Saturday, 4-0, the Pioneers added 5 points, for a Total of 10, to solidify fourth place.
