W&L WINS 2ND ODAC TOURNEY GAME, 3-1 OVER BRIDGEWATER



     GENERALS (24-5) SET SCHOOL RECORD FOR WINS, DEFEAT BRIDGEWATER 3-1

      Dan Kagey pitched 7 innings, striking out 8, and was 1-3 in the win against BridgewaterWINSTON-SALEM, NC--Senior Bobby Littlehale singled in Senior Michael Hanson, and Freshman Taylor McConnell singled in Littlehale in the top of the 9th, after a single by Junior Bryan Mulhern, to break a 1-1 tie, and advance the Generals to an 11:00 a.m. battle of the  undefeateds against Virginia Wesleyan Saturday in the ODAC double elimination tournament. With  this win , the Generals set a new single-seasonMichael Hanson pitched a clutch 2 shutout innings to earn the win against defending champs Bridgewater school record of 24 wins against only 5 defeats.

    Junior Dan Kagey pitched 7 strong innings, of 1 run ball,
    striking out 8, before Hanson came in to shut out the Eagles in  the 8th and
    Brian Gladys led the Generals, going 2-4 in the ODAC Tournament win against Bridgewater9th innings and earn the win.

    Senior Brian Gladysz and Mulhern led the Generals at the plate with each going 2-4, followed by Sophomore Zach Bausch, 2-5 with a double. Bausch scored the first run scoring on a wild pitch in the 5th inning. Kagey also had a hit for the Generals.
