            EMORY, Va,. --W&L pitcher Peter Dean suffered his
          Austin Allain, 6-9, 3 doubles first loss of the 2003 campaign, giving up 4 earned runs on 8 hits while striking out 7, as the Wasps of Emory & Henry downed the Generals by a score of 8-5 in the first ODAC game for both teams. W&L was led by Junior Austin Allain (3-3 with 2 doubles),Dan Kagey, 2nd No Hitter, 6-9, double Junior Dan Kagey (3-4 with a double), and Michael Hanson's 3rd homerun in 4 games. Senior Brian Gladysz and Junior Bryan Mulhern added the other hits for the Generals.


             In the nightcap, Junior Dan Kagey picked up his first win of the season while tossing a 7 inning no-hitter, giving up 1 unearned run, as the Generals lambasted the Wasps in the second game, 26-1. The game was called on account of darkness. Senior Bobby Littlehale
         
         Bobby Littlehale, homerun, 5-10, 6 RBIs
homered for the first time this year, going 5-6 with 6 RBIs. Six Generals doubled: Senior Michael Hanson, 4-5 with 4 RBIs and a sacrifice fly; Junior Austin Allain, 3-6 with 2 RBIs, Junior Bryan Mulhern, 3-5 with 2 RBIs; Kagey, 3-5 with 2 RBIs; Sophomore Adam Bullock, 3-4 with 4 RBIs; and Sophomore Zach Bausch, 4-6 with 3 RBIs. Senior Brian Gladysz was 2-4 with 2 RBIs, and Freshman Taylor McConnell, 1-1, added the other General hit.
