Soccer: Welcome
=============== League Overview ===============
The WJAA Soccer programs have historically been open to children from age 5 to age 12.
We also admit all 7th grade children, even if they are older than 12.
Tykes/Munchkins:
The Kindergarten/5 year old children play in the 'Under-6' or U6 league, also known as Tykes or Munchkins. This league has two teams and focuses on fun games and limited scrimmages. The team meets only one day a week.
Clinic:
The U8, U10 and U13 leagues each host multiple teams. Teams in these leagues practice one night during the week and play one game every Saturday.
The U10 and U13 leagues end their season with playoff games.
============= Practices and Games ============
All practices and games are at Carnival Hill in Wilton.
All games are against other WJAA teams - these are NOT travel leagues.
================ Season ================
The season usually runs eight weeks; from the first week of school to late October or early November.
