The West Pasco Prowlers are in their twelfth year as part of Foundation for Youth Development (FYD), Greater Tampa Bay Pop Warner conference which is part of Southeast Regional Pop Warner which includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Pop Warner Little Scholars (PWLS) is the only nationally recognized youth football and cheer program in the United State Endorsed by the NFL, the National Players Association and the National Cheerleaders Association and the only youth sports program that emphasizes and rewards for academic excellence!
Our West Pasco Prowlers football and cheerleading programs combine the teaching of athletic and game fundamentals with an emphasis on education, academic excellence, self-discipline, moral values, and social skills.
For our 2010 season, we have one flag team, six tackle Football teams and Seven Cheerleading teams. We have a great group of players, cheerleaders, hard working volunteers, dedicated Coaches and supportive parents.
Prowlers Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, educational outlet for children of our community regardless of income, race, religious belief with support from community business, and citizens of the community, we will develop and coordinate current and new program that emphasize self-discipline, academic achievement, moral structure, social skills and pride.
This Saturday Feb 18th, will be holding our first practice at Holiday Rec Center from 10 - 11:30 AM.
This year’s Spring flag rate will be $95 and the year round cheer rate will be $50.
Now we have been asked if we will be offering a "retro rate" again this year. As we previously expressed it was really a 1 time thing last year as we tried to celebrate a new era for the Prowlers, the reality is costs continue to rise and we simply would not be around long at the opportunity we offered folks last year.
However, we are offering a "Reduced Rate" opportunity ONLY until the Year End Banquet on January 28th.
The reduced rates for tackle football next year will be $110 plus a $40 jersey fee. To qualify for the reduced rate you need to sign up and pay the reduced rate ($110) in full no later than the Banquet on 01-28-2012. The jersey fee does not need to be paid until prior to ordering the jersey's this summer, however the sooner you pay your jersey fee, the sooner you can secure your childs number as that will be done on a first pay basis. No jerseys will be distrubuted until the fee is paid, of course the kids will again keep their jersey.
The reduced combined rate for tackle and flag will be $170 (plus the $40 jersey fee for tackle football)
The cheer reduced rate will be $85 (plus the cost of the cheer package, approx $75), again like jersey fee the cheer package does not need to be paid until prior to ordering next summer.
The reduced combined cheer rate for fall and spring will be $115 (plus the cost of the cheer package).
**Spring Flag Practice starts on 02-12-2012**
After the conclusion of the Banquet on 01-28-2012, the rates will be:
Spring Flag $95
Fall Tackle $185 (plus cost of jersey fee $40) This is the rate for TM thru PW
Jr. Midget and Midget (ONLY) will be $50 (plus cost of Jersey fee $40) **No reduced rate or Combo Rate Apply**
Combined rate after the Banquet will be $250 (plus jersey fee)
Spring Cheer will be $50
Fall Cheer will be $120 (plus the cost of the cheer package)
