For this year and the rest of your life, there are only two things that you can control:
"Your attitude and your effort"
Everything else is and will always be out of your control, (coaching decisions, parental decisions, umpires calls, teacher decisions, bad breaks, and the outcome of a game), you get the picture.
The more you worry and get angry about what you can't control, (which we all do), the greater the guarantee that you will become frustrated and disappointed.
Focus on those things that you can control and you will have done everything you could to be successful.
So for practices and games, make sure that your attitude is can-do and your effort leaves nothing behind. No matter what anyone else thinks or does, you'll go home at the end of the day knowing you have done your best.
