WARM WELCOME TO ALLEAH, SARAH AND THEIR FAMILIES!
After our early season workout in mid-August, the coaching staff and team are excited to announce the additions of Alleah Laxamana and Sarah Yniguez to our team. Both girls impressed our coaches with their skill, athleticism, and tremendous attitudes during the workouts. They also impressed our returning girls and will fit in tremendously. Both are well rounded players that bring added value and depth to our already talented team.
We'd like to thank all the young athletes who participated in our work out, and wish them much luck in their fastpitch future.

OC IMPACT 95 FINISHES 2nd AT USA/ASA NATIONALS!
What a way to end a tremendous season that started back in September 2007!! A 2nd place runner-up finish at the Big ASA 12U Dance in Montgomery, Alabama and earning a berth to 2009 14U USA/ASA Nationals in Marietta, GA is certainly a well earned accomplishment. Finishing the tournament with a 10-2 record, scoring 71 runs while only allowing 13, OC Impact proved its elite status as a premiere fast pitch softball team from Southern California. Neither weather or schedule was a factor in the teams' determination to finish in the top 2. Pride, honor, respect, and love is what these teammates play for, and with the taste of ultimate victory within reach, a new goal has been set.
Congratulations OC Impact 95. Well done!

OC IMPACT 95 - 2008 ASA NATIONALS QUALIFIED!!
OC IMPACT 95 - FINALIST IN SO. CAL. ASA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
After weeks of long hard practices, funky un-Southern California-like weather, and a Memorial Day weekend that left many softball families clueless of what to do on an off weekend. The Southern California ASA State Championship FINALLY took place over the weekend of May 30-June 1. Some of So. Cal's. best came out to battle and give it their all to capture the championship trophy and earn one of three coveted berths to the "Big Dance" in Alabama.
Knowing that no one would fold easily, our OC Impact girls played their hearts out utilizing their championship experience and making it to the finals. Strong tests versus determined teams made the goal difficult but the girls continued to believe in themselves, their coaches, and their fans while making it to the Championship Game.
With the only loss to the So. Cal State Champs, OC Impact proved once again to be a premier competitor at the highest level of the 12U division. Capturing 2nd place and a berth to the ASA National Championship, OC Impact is well on its way to compete for the ultimate goal.
Congratulations to the So. Cal State Champions, Corona Angels 95, and third place finisher Downey Nemesis for a great tournament and their berths to ASA Nationals.
Brace yourself Alabama!!

OC IMPACT 95 2008 FRESNO FORCE 12U CHAMPIONS!
OC IMPACT 95 WINS 2008 12U FRESNO FORCE CLASSIC!
The 19th annual Fresno Force Classic turned out to be another great California softball event. With 48 of the top teams in California and surrounding states signed up in the 12U division, fierce competitive battles were expected. OC Impact started out strong in pool play with a 15-0 win over Bakersfield Babes, and 10-0 win over Sacramento Fire & Ice. These 2 victories helped build the momentum that took us into one of the best games of the tournament vs. Anderson Heat. Battling Anderson Heat many times before, our girls knew that an A+ game and effort had to be played. After 8 innings of tremendous plays and shut out pitching, OC Impact came out victorious with a 2-1 extra inning win. Placing 1st in pool play, OC Impact started elimination Sunday winning 8-0 vs. Nemesis Elite and 5-0 vs. The Next Level. This put us back into a game vs. Anderson Heat in the semi finals. After some key offensive plays and a strong effort in the circle, OC Impact headed into the championship game with a 3-0 victory vs. Anderson Heat. Facing Corona Angels in any game is tough, so we knew that being the championship game at Fresno Force, Corona was going to “bring it”. Our girls stepped up to the challenge, and focused on playing their game. In the end, OC Impact placed 1st with a 4-1 victory over a very talented and well coached Corona Angels 95.
Overall OC Impact went undefeated 7-0 scoring 48 runs allowing only 2 in one of California’s premiere tournaments.
Congratulations to Corona Angels 95 and all southern california teams for a great tournament. Thanks also go out to Fresno Force for putting on this great mid-season event.

Bomb Squad 95 Players and Coaches Have Joined the OC Impact Organization!!
July 2007 - The 2006/2007 coaches and players of Bomb Squad 95 have departed and are happy to announce that we have joined the Orange County Impact Softball Club. Now known as OC Impact 95, we will continue our track record of success beginning in the 04/05 year as a young 10U team and following that up as a second year 10U team in the 05/06 year finishing with a 4th Place finish at 10U ASA Nationals in Moline, IL in August 2006. Continuing in the Fall of 2006 and then into the Spring and Summer of 2007, this talented group of core girls demonstrated a high level of play with the composure and attitude of a championship team. The teamwork, passion, and sheer athleticism displayed in the 06/07 year, proved to many that this was not your average 1st year 12U team. Their heart and passion was demonstrated in tournaments like the Surf City Classic (placing 2nd), the Casino Ball Championship (placing 1st), the Xtreme May Mayhem (placing 2nd), and the Triple Crown World Series in Park City, Utah (placing 2nd). As a result of this finish, the team is now Triple Crown World Series Qualified for 2008! As a first year 12u team, we accomplished many of our goals, prepared ourselves for the battles we will face in '07/'08, and earned the respect as one of the premier teams in Southern California. Now as a 2nd year 12U team, our focus will be to continue to get better both individually and as a team one practice, one out, and one inning at a time. Our goal is to represent our new organization and compete for a National Championship at the 2008 ASA Nationals in Montgomery, Alabama.
