THE VICTORY USA GIRLS FASTPITCH ORGANIZATION
The Victory USA Fastpitch Softball Organizaton was started by Dan Hay and currently has teams in the 10U, 14U (2 teams), 16U, and 18 Gold levels. The teams are run by very experienced coaches with many years of experience in the ASA travel ball and high school circuit.
Victory USA is fortunate and very proud to have a partnership with Victory Custom Athletic Wear and Mizuno Sports. Victory Custom Athletic is a nationwide, custom uniform manufacturer located in Southern California. Victory Custom Athletic provides top of the line uniforms to many of the top travel, high school, and major college and university softball programs. GOALS
The goals of the organization and our team are very simple - To develop the talents of our players and team to compete on an annual basis at the Amateur Softball Association National Championship Tournament at each age level. For our team, our immediate goal is to compete for a national championship in the 2009 ASA National Championship in Georgia. We look forward to this in 2009 as a follow up to our Top 4 finishes in 3 out of the last 4 national tournaments and Top 4 finishes in 2 out of the last 3 ASA National Tournaments. For us, qualifying isnt enough and is only a step towards our goal both individually and as a team. Based on the experience and tested talent of the players, both new to the team and returning, the leadership of the experienced coaching staff, and the supportive Parent Booster Club, we have a strong base to continue this strong tradition.
For those who know our core values, we must have coaches, players and parents on the same page. Honesty, integrity, respect, character, patience, and relentless positivity are things that we value. We expect to have bumps in the road. We will not make every pitch, make every play, or win every game. To get better, you have to have setbacks and experience things out of our control to learn from. Any championship team will go through this. It is how we react as players, coaches, parents and as an organization that will set us apart from others. That is the one thing we can control.
Our girls will learn and develop into better players. They will work too hard at our private practice facility in the City of Orange (known as Victory Field) and Canyon High School not to do so. In addition, practicing against and with some of the most talented players in the 14U division on a daily basis will make them better on a day-to-day basis. Practices are focused and do not waste time. We stress fundamentals, communication and muscle memory repetition.
It is this approach that will help our girls not only in softball but in life.
