Welcome to Ventnor Little League Baseball, Softball, & Teeball.
2012 Tryouts and Registration - See Tab at left for more detailed information.
The Goals of Ventnor Little League are:
- Provide a safe & healthy environment for players of all abilities;
- Teach & develop baseball & softball skills;
- Promote sportsmanship & a healthy sense of competition;
- Promote an understanding of the rules of the game.
Have some old equipment that you no longer need?
Please donate it to a Ventnor Little League Official or Coach.
League Officials & Coaches will provide donated equipment to needed Ventnor players or to Chelsea players in Atlantic City. If you are in need of equipment and cannot afford it, contact a League Official or Coach.Ages 9 thru 12 – Little League (Major League)* $50
Boys play Baseball & Girls play Softball separately
Ages 7 thru 10 – Minor League* $40
Boys play Baseball & Girls play Softball separately
Ages 5 & 6 – Tee Ball (Boys & Girls together) $30
Ages 13 thru 15 – Senior League Girls Softball $60
Fee is $10 less for each additional child
*Try Outs for Major League (Little League) Boys Baseball will be Saturday, March 17 at 12:00 PM @ the Little League Field. Softball (Girls) Try Outs for Girls Softball will be announced soon. are TBD. Anyone who played girls or boys Major League in Ventnor last year will remain on their same team & does not have to tryout. All other 9 thru 12 year old players must try out. We use try outs and a player draft to balance teams. Nine and ten year olds who are determined not ready for Major League, will play in Minor league (7 thru 10).

* Whether we have an Intermediate Baseball Team will be determined after the Major League Baseball Draft held on March 19. It will depend on whether enough players are beyond Minor League and not yet ready for Major League.
** If sufficient players sign up for Senior League Girls Softball.

Parents/Players will be contacted by the League Director or their Team Head Coach prior to these dates.
· Major League (Little League) Boys Baseball: Practice: March 21st; Games: April 16th.
· Major League (Little League) Girls Softball: Practice: March 26st; Games: April 16th.
· Intermediate League?? (9-10) Practice: TBD; Games: TBD
· Minor League Boys Baseball: Practice: April 1st; Games: April 23rd.
· Minor League Girls Softball: Practice: April 1st; Games: April 23rd.
· Tee Ball Boys & Girls together: Practice & Games: April 23rd.

New beginning this year as sanctioned by Little League District 16 and approved by Little League International.
Ventnor participation in Baseball and Softball being determined based on # of players desiring to participate.
Players MUST be on a Regular Season Team and MUST participate in practices and games of those teams.
All pitching statistics apply to both Regular Season games and Travel games.
There will be an additional Fee to participate on this Team – TBD.
All games expected to be played on Sunday. D16 determining details.
FIELD SCHEDULING
Each Ventnor Little League Field has a SINGLE scheduler.
All requests for time on any field MUST go to the appropriate scheduler.
No one has rights to a field without permission of the scheduler.
Schedulers are:

· Minor League Baseball Field – Glenn Master
· Tee Ball Field – Beth Holtzman
DO NOT PLAY OR PRACTICE ON A LINED FIELD.Fields are lined for scheduled games. Only scheduled Teams may warm up, practice, or play on a lined field.
