Valley Breeze Organization
Armando Madrid put the first Valley Breeze Team together in 1994. It was his vision to train & prepare these girls for high school and college Fast Pitch Softball. To reach these goals they needed to travel and play other teams that were competitive enough to get them into top tournaments and get them ready for the Nationals. These goals were met. And in 1994 they placed 1st in an A.S.A Ca. State Tournament and also placed 7th in an A.S.A. National Tournament. In 1995 Valley Breeze 16u placed 5th in A.S.A. Ca. State Tournament. In 1996 Joe Aranda, Tommy Sotelo, and George Yuhasz came aboard and took over the team. They placed 1st in a “Hall of Fame” Tournament in Oklahoma City, OK. And placed 5th in an A.S.A. 16u National in Chatt., TENN. In 1997 this 18u team went on to place 3rd in the “Hall of Fame” tournament and placed 9th in the Nationals. 1998 our 18u girls placed 4th in the State. Then this team came back in 1999 and again placed 1st in State and came in 2nd in the Nationals to become Valley Breeze 18u Gold. As the years went on, Valley Breeze added teams. In 2000 the 18u team went the Nationals and came back with 4th place. And our 14u girls placed 13th.
