2008 UPCOMING EVENTS:

Now! Monday through Saturday practice: Meet at 7:00 am in front of Valencia High School on Bradford. Bring a water bottle on Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays for trail runs. Wear a sports watch to keep track of progress!

August 25-29th: Practice moves to 4:00 pm to get used to the heat and learn routes from school. Coaches have teacher days at school. Bring clearance slips to practice.

The team worked very hard yet had a lot of fun raising funds for our season! Del Taco was very generous in donating a percentage of the receipts gathered one day and we had tremendous support from family and friends. The carwash and yardsale was also extremely successful with great team participation and wonderful parent support! Now we can all focus on being outstanding students and runners!

The 9th Annual Big Bear Running Camp was a huge success...a time of team bonding with lots of miles, hills, and challenges but also plenty of fun with swimming, kayaking, games, more games, and good food! Enjoy the pictures and memories!

We had a challenging and rewarding run at Crystal Cove State Park conquering the famed and feared "Elevator" which leads to the "top of the world"! Varsity runners were swift and freshman were so tough to finish the route with smiles. Rewards of picnic and "wave therapy" at the ocean followed, great day!
