Ravens Lose on FG in EFA Tournament
Ravens vs Atlanta Prime for EFA Tournament Championship
The Virginia Ravens lost 20-17 to the Atlanta Prime in the EFA Championship game at Cameron Field on Dec. 1.  Jawarren Cowles was named MVP for the Ravens.  Cowles had 28 carries for 160 yds and 1 td.

Ravens MDFL Hall of Fame Inductions
Ravens Inducted into MDFL Hall of Fame
Michael Sampson, former Free Safety, and Glen Cooper, Trainer, were inducted into the 2nd annual MDFL Hall of Fame Saturday, October 28, 2007.  Michael led the nation in interceptions (16) and is also the record holder for the Ravens with 52 career interceptions.

Glen has been a member of the Ravens staff since their beginning in 1987.  His semi-pro career also includes duties with the Tri-State Titans (1978-79) and the Richmond Renegades (1986).

Monday, August 29
"Tank" Washington Sets Raven and MDFL Record
"Tank" Washington, defensive back for the Ravens, set a team and League record on Saturday, August 27 when he intercepted a pass in the endzone and returned it 109 yards for the td. Tank also had another INT return for 37 yds and a TD giving him 3 for the year. Tank is a graduate of King William High School where he was an All-State player.

2004 - Ravens Are MDFL & EFA Champions
RAVENS WIN 2004 MDFL CHAMPIONSHIP and EFA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Virginia Ravens defeated the Prince William Monarchs 25-22 to take the coveted League title on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004. On Saturday, December 4, the Ravens won the Eastern Football Alliance National Tournament by defeating the NY Bandits (United Football League) 39-38. The Ravens also won the 2004 Southwest Division and 2004 Southern Conference titles; the 2003 Northwest Division; 2000 Central Division; 1998 Southern Division; 1997 Mason-Dixon League Championship and were 1997 runners-up in the AFA's National Championship.

Ravens Win EFA Championship
Ravens To Play in 2004 EFA Tournament
The Virginia Ravens, winners of the MDFL 2004 Championship, defeated the Virginia Pirates (UFL)21-18 in round one of the Eastern Football Alliance Tournament on Saturday, November 13.

The Ravens traveled to Loudon,TN on Saturday, Nov. 20 to play the Tennessee Raiders in round two and won 40-33. The Raiders (10-1) are the Champions of the Appalachian Football League.

The Ravens hosted the Knoxville Knights of the Appalachian League on Saturday, Nov. 27 in the Final Four and won 42-20. The win advanced the Ravens to the EFA Championship game in Cumberland, MD on Saturday, December 4 - 7 pm, where they defeated the NY Bandits of the United Football League 39-38.

The Eastern Football Alliance is comprised of 6 leagues - Mason-Dixon, United, Southern, Appalachian, South Atlantic and Colonial. League winners plus the next 10 teams with the highest power ratings will compete. Playoffs are scheduled for the weekends of November 13, 20, 27 with the EFA Championship being held on December 4 in Cumberland, MD.
