Welcome
Monday, November 17 Virginia Hornets Semi-Pro Football: ONE TEAM...ONE MISSION
Hornets Slip in "Soup"er Bowl
The Hornets traveled to Brooklyn, NY this past weekend in anticipation of bringing back the EFAFL Championship against the NY Bandits. It was a great game putting the best of the north vs. the best of the south for it all. As the Hornets pulled into Floyd Bennett Field, they realized it was going to be a fun, interesting game as it was wet, rainy, and included very thick fog. The weather held the name of the game true as it made it a soupy environment to play in.
Both teams showed why they are the best at what they do as it was back and forth all game long, despite the weather, but in the end, the Bandits topped the Hornets, 21-8. Despite the score, your Hornets were very dominating, but the Bandits took advantage of a few mistakes and turned the game around for them.
Congratulations goes to the Bandits on their 2008 Championship season. To the Hornets, congratulations on a great season, and in the off season, be preparing for 2009. Let's make 2009 the year of the Hornet.
