Victorville,CA - Youth Soccer League: History

VYSL was created in 1995 by a team of 8-10 concerned soccer enthusiasts who desired a more well-rounded soccer program for the youth of Victorville. This team of 10, met with City Council members; made presentations to the Park & Recreation Committee; and spent countless hours meeting with experts within CYSA, and District 5, in particular. We kicked off our Inaugural Opening Day with a big soccer celebration, complete with game booths, a dunk tank, a skills competition, and a coaches scrimmage. Our league began with just over 400 players and has now reached up to 900.
