Aspen Street / Peters Canyon
This is where we meet for runs at Peters Canyon. Take Santiago Canyon (Katella, Villa Park Rd) East to Jamboree. Make a right and go past Chapman to Canyon view and make a right. Go about half a mile to Aspen and make a right. Park on the right. Beach We will do a Saturday run at the beach and hang out after with a BBQ. To get there, take the 55 South to the 22 West and exit Trask. Make a right on Trask and go to Brookhurst. Make a right and go about nine miles To Pacific Coast Hwy. Go straight through the intersection into the beach parking. If you don't want to pay for the parking, drop off and exit back up Brookhurst a quarter mile just past the first street Bushard. You should be able to park on the right. Bonelli Regional Park This is a new race we are trying. It is suppossed to have a little of everything so it is probably a slower course like Laguna Hills. This course is supossed to be one of the best courses for seeing the whole race. To get there, go North on the 57 for about 18 miles and exit Via Verde. Make a left and take Via Verde to the park gate enterance.
Dana Hills Dana Hills is the fastest course we do besides league finals at Yorba Park. To get there, take the 55 South to the 5 South to Camino Capistrano exit. Turn left and go two stoplights and turn right on Stonehill. Go all the way up the hill to Golden Lantern. The school is on the right. Dana Hills High School is located at 33333 Golden Lantern, Dana Point CA 92629.
El Modena/Kelly Stadium El Modena/Kelly Stadium is where we hold our home meets for track. They have strict rules about food not being brought on the field. To get there, Take Taft West to Santiago and make a left. Take Santiago to Collins and make a left. Collins bends South and the name changes to Prospect. Take Prospect to Spring and make a left. Go about a quarter mile and it is on the right. 3920 Spring Street.
Fullerton Court House This is where we meet for some Saturday distance runs. There is a nice trail run that goes around a pond at the end. To get there, take the 91 West to Harbor. Exit and make a right on Harbor heading North. Go about 3 miles to Berkely and make a left. The Court House is about a third mile up. 1275 N Berkely Ave Fullerton 92832.
Irvine Park OC Championships, our home course, and El Modena's home course, are held here. Take Santiago Canyon (Katella, Villa Park Rd) East to Jamboree. Make a left into the park.
Mabury Gate Rocks Enterance We will meet at the gate enterance to the Rocks Run to run on soft dirt trails. To get there, go East on Taft to Cannon. Make a left and go to Serrano. Make a right and go to McKinley. Make a right and follow it as it bends East onto Mabury and go for about a quarter mile until Mabury bends left into Orange Park. On the right at the end of Mabury street is a gate enterance to the dirt trails. We meet here. Rim Crest This is a street that goes into Carban Canyon / Chino Hills trails. To get there, go East on Taft to Cannon and make a left. Cannon turns into Imperial Hwy. Exit Kellogg and make a right. Go to Yorba Linda and make a right. Go to Fairmont and make a left. Go to Rim Crest and make a left up to the top of the street. There is a no parking on Rim Crest until 8 AM. To park, go left on Forest which is one street before Rim Crest. Make sure parking is ok there. Shaffer Park We will be trying a new location for our ATs and meet at Shaffer Park. To get there, go West on Taft to Tustin and make a right. Go to Meats and make a left. Go to Shaffer and make a left. Go to grove and make a right. The park is on the left. We will meet by the baseball field.
Vesuvious This is a street we go to to get into Carbon Canyon Park. To get there, go West on Taft to Tustin and make a right. Tustin turns into Rose. Go about 5 miles to Vesuvious. It is just past Imperial. Make a left on Vesuvious and park. Azusa Pacific University This meet is for distance runners only. To get there, take the 57 N until it ends at the 210. Take the 210 W about 5 miles and exit at Citrus. The exit does not put you on Citrus. It puts you on a street called Baseline. Make a left on Baseline to Citrus. At Citrus, make a right and go about half a mile. Azusa will be on your right. Make a right on University Drive to go into the school parking by the track.
Canyon High School Go East on Taft to Cannon. Make a left. Cannon becomes Imperial. Canyon is on the right at 220 S Imperial Hwy.
Carbon Canyon This is Brea's home course and is probably the hardest course we do except MT. SAC. It starts out on grass with a lot of zig zags and then winds through some skiny dirt trails, and has a good size hill close to the end. The course is slightly over 3.1 miles. To get there, Go South on Taft to Santiago and make a right. Take Santiago to Lincoln and make a left. Take Lincoln to Tustin and make a right. Tustin turns into rose. Take Rose to Valencia and make a right. Take Valencia to Lambert/Carbon Canyon and make a right. Go about half a mile and take the main enterance into the park.
Katella High School Only Frosh Soph field events go to this meet on friday. All others go to Santa Ana College on Sat. Take Taft West for about 3 miles. Pass the 57. Make a right at Sunkist. Make a left at Wagner. School will be on the left at 2200 E Wagner.
Laguna Hills Invitational Take the 55 South to the 5 South. Exit at Alicia PKWY and make a right. Go to Paseo De Valencia and make a right. The School is at 25401 Paseo De Valencia
Mission Viejo High School Track Orange County Championships is being held here. To get there, take the 55 South to the 5 South and exit La Paz and make a left. Go to Chrisanta Drive and make a right. The School will be on the right. 25025 Chrisanta Drive.
Moorpark Highschool CIF prelims is being held at Moorpark. We suggest taking the 405 and not the 5. It helps avoid traffic. To get there, take the 91 west about 27 miles to the 110 South, go a quarter mile to the 405 North, go 35 miles to the 118 West, go 25 miles to the 23 South, go 1 mile and exit Tierra Rejada Road and make a right, go about 3 miles and the school is on the right. 4500 Tierra Rejada Rode, Moorpark. The trip should take about 1:30 hours.
Mt. San Antonio College Take 57 North. The 57 merges with the 60 for a few miles. Exit Grand and make a left. The parking will be on the right side about 3 miles up on 1100 N Grand Ave. Do not pay for the parking in the main parking lot F. Go about 400 feet further up to the next parking lot on the left.
San Clemente High School Triton Invite This is where we have our Triton Invite. They want 3/16 inch needle spikes. To get there, go South on the 55 for 4 miles to the 5 South. Go about 27 miles and exit Avenida Pico. Make a left and go about one third mile and the school will be on the right. 700 Avenida Pico, San Clemente.
Santa Ana College Katella Relays is held here. To get here Take the 55 South to the 22 West and exit at City Drive. The exit loops around so you have to make a right and go South to Memory Ln. Make a left and go to Bristol. Make a right and go to 17th. Make a right and the school is on the left. 1530 West 17th. You can also take the 55 South all the way to 17th and make a right and head West all the way to the school.
Trabuco Hills High School You can take the canyon or the freeway. If you take the canyon, take Katella Ave, which becomes Villa Park Rd, which becomes Santiago Canyon Rd, to Jamboree, make a right to Chapman and make a left. Chapman becomes Santiago Canyon Rd. Go about 12 miles. Santiago becomes El Toro. Take El Toro to Marguerite Pkwy and make a left. Go to Los Alisos and make a right. Go to Mustang and make a right into the school. If you take the Freeway, Take the 55 South to the 5 South and exit El Toro. The freeway actually lets you off on a street called Avenida De La Carlota so make a left on it to El Toro and a left on El Toro. Take El Toro a few miles to Portola Pkwy/Santa Margarita and make a right. Go to Los Alisos and make a right to Mustang and make a right into the school.
Tustin High This course is half grass and paved. The first mile loops backwards around for the second and then loops forward again for the third. To get there, take the 55 South to the 5 South and exit Newport. Make a left to El Camino Real and make a right. The school will be on the left.
Yorba Regional Park League Finals Go East on taft. Make a left at Cannon. Cannon becomes Imperial. Make a right at La Palma. The Park is on the right side at 7600 E. La Palma. You can park in the neighborhood on the left, but check the street sweeper signs.
