Dear Athletic Director and Volleyball Coach:
Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the VISVA this year on their competitive spirit and sportsmanship. Special congratulations to Grace Christian School, Notre Dame Academy and Paul VI High School for winning their division titles.
I would also like to thank Doug Smethurst and The Covenant School for hosting the tournament. The facilities were excellent. The volunteers working the tournament could not have been more helpful.
The dates for the 2005 tournament will be November 8, 11 and 12. North Cross School in Roanoke will be hosting. The general committee is seeking a location for the tournament in 2006. The facilities need to have a high ceiling clearance, ample room at the sides and ends of the court, seating for a minimum of 350, wood floor, entrances that can be easily managed by the committee for gate receipts, and a concessions area. If your school is interested and did not speak with a committee member at the 2004 tournament, e-mail me your schools desire to be considered. The committee would like the opportunity to view the facilities and talk with those that will be in charge.
Enclosed you will find All State Teams, and the Coaches of the Year for the 2004 season.
The committee welcomes your comments about this years handling of the association and tournament as well as recommendations for the future. Good luck with the rest of the school year.
