Virginia Beach Blazers Basketball has grown into a comprehensive year-round environment that teaches as much about life as it does about basketball. Virginia Beach Blazers Basketball strives to produce well-rounded and motivated individuals who show responsibility for their community. Our athletes are held accountable for their behavior as a part of our organization, for their efforts at home and for their academic performance. Participants learn to be disciplined, hard-working, and fair. Above all else, Virginia Beach Blazers Basketball provides for its players positive exposure to a diverse collection of cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Virginia Beach Blazers Basketball, is an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) / Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) youth basketball team.
Our objective is to help each member development into well-rounded young athlete. We use responsibility to foster a sense of community and competitive basketball to enhance each child’s individual potential.

March will see the Blazers take part in two tournaments. Both tournaments are National Qualifying Super Regional’s to be held March 13-15 & March 27th-29th in Hampton VA. The Team hopes to wrap-up national qualification early this year, so they can get head start on fundraising and other preparation for the AAU Boy 13u Divison II Nationals. This year the tournament will be held in Memphis, TN from June 28th-July 6th. Blazers fans should also look forward to April, when the team takes part in the Division II Eastern Region Finals in Hampton, VA April 24th-26th
All three tournaments will be exciting, competitive, and educational, however, in order for the Blazers to compete, they will need to raise the money to do so. The team will hold its first official fundraiser on Saturday February 28th at the Lynnhaven Super Walmart. Blazers fans will have the opportunity to meet, greet and support Big Red from 10am to 8pm. Below is list of times when you favorite Blazer is scheduled to appear.
