Thanks to everyone that was a part of the Lunachix organization for 2009. We had so many good times, I hope your memories of the season last a life time. I know I take a lot of fond memories with me, and appreciate all the new friends I made.
While I have decided to move along to a new challenge, I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season and all the luck in the world for 2010.
Sincerely,
Paul Hazlett

To the 16u girls;
Great job this weekend as 16u advanced thru the West Liberty tourney on Sunday, finishing about middle pack for the weekend. The only losses of the weekend were to the 1st and 2nd place teams in the tourney. Great job for our first weekend together. A parent commented that it was nice to still be alive and winning on Sunday and when I told them to get used to it I meant it.
Get your game faces ready for Vandalia and let's show the Dayton teams we're for real! |

Thanks to the 16u girls for greeting me with open arms at our first practice of 2009. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone that was able to attend and I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun this summer while learning the game. Congratulations to Paige for making the roster. Another fine player to work with this summer. Thanks again to Jeff Leach for the opportunity. I'm looking forward to working with the pitchers very soon.
To many of you that are getting to know me for the first time, most of the girls call me Fuzze or coach Fuzze because of my hair. Anyone that uses that name first at our next practice wins a hot fudge sunday for reading it on our website. Look for more chances for rewards everyday on this website and on the All Star Softball Academy website.
See you soon!!! |

Hello everyone,
My name is Paul Hazlett and I'd like to thank everyone for inviting me to join the coaching staff of the 16u program. I'm looking forward to the summer ahead and I'm sure we will have plenty of fun while learning more about fastpitch softball.
I have offered to help any of the pitchers that are a part of the organization. I am certified by the IFPA as a pitching instructor, and was tested and signed off by Ernie Parker after extensive training from Ernie and a host of others. The windmill style that I teach focuses on a time proven technique that is the safest way for a person to pitch with minimum chance of injury.
Contact your head coach to get information on contacting me, and we'll set up a time for an indoor session. My goal is to help promote the game of fastpitch softball while helping you hone your skills. I am toally committed to helping the Lunachix program and I'm looking forward to a relaxing summer while aiding Jeff Leach and the 16u team.
Thank you,
Paul Hazlett

Hi, I just wanted to pass this site along. They have great customer service, and the BEST deals on Anderson Bats. If you're lucky you can catch one of their specials with a free backpack. http://www.wcsportinggoods.com.
They also have great deals on Demarini, Combat, Miken and many other baseball and softball bats as well.
Take care, and best of luck. |

Congratulations go out to Jon for getting our web sight up and running. Thanks Jon!
Also, all 12U and 14U should be taking advantage of the break that we have during the Thanksgiving Holiday season and studying up on the play book. The sooner we understand the different scenarios, the sooner we can master them. Lets exercise our minds while our hands are idle. |
