At Universal Martial Arts Center the Instructors are Retired and Active Law Enforcement Officers and Active and Retired Military Personnel. The form of self-defense that we teach have been tried and tested in actual combat situations. 

Universal is a family oriented Dojang. We encourage families to not only train together, but to participate in all of our events and outings.  For our students we stress the importance of good grades in school and well disciplined behavior. We honor our students Annually with an awards banquet, where every student is awarded for their hard work and dedication. Special awards are given for academic excellence and Sports achievement. 

Competition

We also train students in the Olympic Sports of Tae Kwon Do and Judo, and compete in Regional, State and National events and Tournaments.

Combat Hapkido

Here you learn the art of Combat Hapkido " Chon Tu Kwan". Combat Hapkido is pure Self-Defense. It's a Martial art made for everyday survival. No Poomse, Forms or Katas. It is known to be the science of Self-Defense.
