Our Mission:
Ultimate Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization committed to developing self-confidence, motivation and teamwork among young athletes through the sport of volleyball. Our Goal: To partner with the YMCA and local schools to develop volleyball programs that will improve the performance levels of local athletes as well as introduce the sport of volleyball to a new generation. More Information about Ultimate Volleyball Club Who: Ultimate Volleyball Club is a group of dedicated coaches and players working together to increase the level of volleyball in the Central Florida area. What: We will be forming teams in different age divisions from 18 & Under through 12 & Under. Teams will consist of some of the best players from many different schools in the Central Florida area. Each team will practice 2-3 times per week and play in 2-3 tournaments per month on the weekends. When: We will be having practices from 5:30-9:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The team you are on will determine actual practice times. Tournaments are normally on Saturdays with the exception of 2 day tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. Where: We will be having practices at Champions Sports Complex located near Sand Lake Road and John Young Parkway. Most of our tournaments will be played in Central Florida. Why: UVC gives players the opportunity to play with an elite group of athletes, improve their skills, be introduced to highly advanced competition, and the opportunity to be recruited by college coaches. By playing club, players will meet many new friends and travel to different cities to play in tournaments. How: You can get involved by coming to our informational meeting on October 29th at 4:00pm at Champions Sports Complex. Parents of players wishing to tryout must download the required paperwork and have that turned in prior to try-outs. Registration will take place from 4:00-5:00 and it is strongly suggested that you turn your paperwork in then. Try-out times will be discussed at the meeting and will be posted on our webpage. Try-outs will take place at Champions during the week of the 13th. |
