14th Annual USBC Semi-Pro World Series in 2009!
2009 USBC World Series was won by the Memphis, TN Royals. Memphis won thier 2nd overall USBC WS Title by going 5 & 0 and knocking off the Host Hattiesburg, MS BLack Sox 10 to 7 in the finals.
The USBC is now part of the National American Semi-Pro Baseball Association. All NASPBA AFFILIATED TEAMS are eligible to participate in the USBC Semi-Pro World Series. The USBC World Series is an open World Series and played over the July 4th week-end each year in order to give teams from the Big "4" (AABC Stan Musial) (NBC National Baseball Congress) (NABF Major Division) and the (NASPBA National American Semi-Pro Baseball Association) the chance to compete against each other for one of the most prestigious Semi-Pro World Series Titles in the USA. It also allows teams from the Big "4" to keep on pace for their quest to win the 4 Major National Semi-Pro World Series Titles at the end of the summer
