Our Philosophy: The Upstate Sports Association - Greenville Grrrowl Ice Hockey program is designed to deliver the best value in ice hockey providing both fun and competition. Upstate Sports believes in the development of players, at all age levels, to provide a strength to the program and allow opportunities for all levels of skill and competition.
 
 
Greenville Grrrowl Programs Offered 2009-2010:
 
Upstate Sports offers, through sponsorship and program design, a multi-tier program at an affordable cost (see the 2008/2009 actual costs below):
  • House program that provides fundamental skills development and fun.
  • All-Star program provides a competitive environment that involves league and tournament play as well as some travel. Participation in the All Star program requires participation in the House program. All Star teams will play at Select/B, A or AA depending on the collective skill level of the players involved.

2009/2010 Actual Costs:

House: $300 - includes 40 hrs ice time (practice & games), jersey & socks.

All-Star: $300 - includes 30 hrs ice time (practices, games, & tournaments), jersey, & socks

16U: $600 - No House Program - includes 60 hrs ice time (practices, games, $ tournaments), jersey, & socks

 

Note: Actual 2009/2010 costs will be determined by number of participants and ice costs

August 22, 2009:  In-House/All-Star Registration deadline

                               Coaches Orientation

                               Hockey Equipment Swap

September 9, 2009: In-House/All-Star begins
